Despite its large size, it impressed military observers with its awesome maneuvrability and firepower. Gaincorp have reproduced the graceful lines of this machine in intricate detail with several great features including a large ordnance load, opening canopy, moving airbrake, rudders, flaperons and leading edge wing slats. Also included are two hand-painted pilot figures. The Su-27UBK ("K" for "Kommercial"), the Su-27UB export version with modified on-board equipment, is in service with the Air Forces in China, Vietnam, Ethiopia. The Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) has acquired three batches, totalling 76, of Su-27 fighters from Russia since 1992. Two variants are currently serving with the PLAAF: the single-seat Su-27SK fighter manufactured by KnAAPO at Komsomolsk-na-Amur and the two-seat Su-27UBK fighter-trainer manufactured by IAPO at Irkusk.
